(Sharron Angle) – Can anyone beat a powerful senator like Harry Reid?

Tsunamis are powerful. Harry Reid has been a national tsunami. His blind support of: President Obama’s stimulus programs, cap-and-trade proposals, bail-outs, and the take-over of the health care industry, are a disaster for our nation. The unemployment rate is wavering at or above 10%, the housing industry has effectively collapsed and economists are predicting a double-dip recession.

With the election results from New Jersey and Virginia, the enthusiastic Tea Parties and Capitol Hill protests, the answer has to be a resounding “Yes!”

“Reid is actually vulnerable to a strong candidate like Sharron…” – Tahoe Bonanza 4-15-09

I am not asking you to “Read my lips” I’m asking you to “read my record.”

That record is posted on my website www.sharronangle.com. Here are a few examples:

In 2004, I was awarded the Ronald Reagan Medallion for Courageous Client by the Claremont Institute for my fight to restore the 2/3 legislative vote to raise taxes. My attorneys, Dr. John Eastman and Ed Meese, took the case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

As the Minority Whip in 2003, I lead 15 fighting Republican legislators against the largest tax increase in the history of Nevada through one regular session and two special sessions.

I am known for my consistent and numerous “no” votes on tax and fee increases and poor public policy. I have earned a reputation even with my detractors as the lower taxes, less government regulation Reagan conservative.

In 2007, after I retired from my office as Nevada State Assemblywoman, I requested, lobbied for and passed five pieces of legislation that defended our constitution. Home schooling bill SB 404 passed as a model for freedom of choice in education law in the nation.

In 2008, I sponsored the Nevada Property Tax Restraint Initiative for the ballot as Question 5 that collected over 80,000 signatures across the state.

You may have questions about the Republican primary on June 8. That race can be simply stated in a few sentences.

At this time there are 12 candidates in the race for Nevada’s Senator, 9 have no experience.

John Chachas – A Wall Street banker who does not live in Nevada and has no elected office experience.

Danny Tarkanian -A lawyer who lost two previous elections and has no elected office experience.

Voters have been lied to before by politicians that “run right” and “vote left” once they are elected. Actions speak louder than words.

There are 3 candidates who have had legislative experience:

Mark Amodei – A lawyer and term-limited State Senator who voted for the 2003 largest tax increase in Nevada history.

Sue Lowden – A one term Nevada State Senator who donated thousands of dollars to elect Harry Reid in the past.

Sharron Angle – A small business manager, former teacher and Four-term Nevada Assemblywoman who has a reputation for being a consistent fiscal and social conservative.

As Pat Toomey, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania said in 2006, “Sharron Angle has a stellar record of opposing higher taxes in the Legislature, in the courts, and on the ballot…In all, she has voted against dozens of tax and fee increases in the Legislature.”

She will get my vote, reid needs to go. He’s all about taxes, big corporations and spending and does nothing for the citizens of nevada. He didn’t even have the balls to have a town hall meeting to talk about obamacare. He bribed a louisiana state senator! He hides behind closed doors and changes bills after the senate finance commitee passes them. He takes 500 billion out of medicare and expects the states to make up the money, once again the louisiana purchase!!! How many senators did he bribe and has that money been added on to the total cost of the healthcare bill. You can bet you can add that 500 billion back on to the bill, just in another form of gov’t giveaways to make this bill pass. Vote reid out, he’s no good for nevada or the USA. 2010 can’t come quick enough

Why do politicians think they are the only ones with life’s important experience?

We have politicians like Sharron Angle in Washington now and she will be better?

She attacks Danny Tarkanian saying, that he lost his last two elections. By the way Sharron what was the score in your last two elections? Did you not lose those also? Beware of Career Politicians who neglect the truth.

Even though John Chachas may not have any political experience he has accomplished more than you. His donation to Barack Obama last year voids his campaign in my opinion.

I have over thirty years of business experience and I have led for the fight to defend the 2nd amendment, which you can’t claim any experience in.

Your communication experience is lacking to mine and if you are going to go to Washington to initiate change, you will need the ability and experience to communicate on TV and radio and not with cute little statements, like I am here to raise an army.

Why not invite voters to watch your interview on Jon Ralston’s show Face to Face and let them see what your response was when he pointed out that you actually never got anything passed or accomplished when you were in office.

The Democrats will take your record and turn it upside down and beat you to death with it. If you hadn’t tried to steal a campaign worker from me, I would probably trust you, but I don’t. You remind me of Nancy Pelosi and that we do not need in Washington. And your deceptive advertising practice to give the perception that you were the lone conservative facing Harry Reid, points to your desire to win at all costs and the truth can not be a victim now, for it will then be a victim later.

If you can’t stand up to Jon Ralston, you will not be able to stand up to Harry Reid. As campaign spokesperson for Pat Buchanan in 1996, I was in several TV interview shows where there were three liberals attacking me.

The war in DC will need more than a school marm turned assemblywoman. You would be serving the citizens of Nevada better if you stayed in a state wide race and not a Federal Race.

And the fact that you are operating a $43,000 campaign deficit does not look well to send someone who can’t manage a budget with $200,000 in revenues and you still spent too much. Not for Congress.
