(Karri Bragg) – Two-term Assemblyman Ty Cobb (R-District 26) announced yesterday that he is running for Nevada State Senate.
A fifth generation Nevadan, Ty will be competing in the Republican primary against taxpayer champion Todd Bailey and government employee Ben Kieckhefer – who has already been endorsed by Sen. Bill Raggio and the Republican Senate Caucus – for term-limited Democrat Sen. Randolph Townsend’s seat representing the 4th District in Washoe County.

Kozak Gives a Thumbs Down on Johnny’s Opening Chachas-cha! »
(Karri Bragg) – Immediately following Johnny Chachas announcement Thursday morning that he is officially throwing his hat in the ring for Harry Reid’s U.S. Senate seat, Chuck Kozak fired back at his out-of-town opponent, comparing Chachas to none other than Hillary Clinton.
In Kozak’s response to the official announcement, he criticized Chachas of acting like Hillary Clinton by “shopping for a state from which to run for Senate.”
