(Chuck Muth) – I attended the Clark County Republican Party debate between the four contenders for the chairman’s position today.
It was sponsored and wonderfully conducted by Dave Gibbs and the Nevada Republican Club, with former North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee moderating.
Will have more details on this tomorrow, including, I believe, a game-changing shake-up in the race. But I don’t want to steal anyone’s thunder.
That said, the Club did a post-debate straw poll. Here are the results…
- Jill Douglass: 45
- Nephi Khaliki: 17
- Jesse Law: 16
- Johnny Bru 12
- None of the Above: 1
I guess that Trump endorsement of Chairman Law isn’t packing the punch such endorsements delivered in the past.
The election will be held at the Ahern Hotel in Las Vegas next Tuesday night.
Stay tuned, Batfans…
