RISE To Begin Mentoring Homeschool Parents

(Las Vegas, NV- May 2012) – RISE Education Resource Center is proud to announce it’s upcoming Eight Week Mentoring Program For New or Interested Homeschoolers. RISE’s mission is to provide a facility and resources to support educational choice. As part of that mission, RISE helps families understand more about homeschooling in Nevada and empowers them in that journey with monthly New Homeschoolers Classes and this exciting 8 week mentoring Homeschool 101 Series.

Each week, this class will go over a topic deemed useful for new or interested homeschooling parents. Discussions will be led by homeschool veteran and NV homeschool advcocate, Elissa Wahl. In addition, local speakers will be brought in for some classes such as “organizing your home,” “meal planning and once a month cooking,” and “learning styles.”

This session of the Homeschool 101 Series will begin on Monday, May 21 and will proceed for a total of eight weeks. Class hours are from 7-9; attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

$35 Book Fee + $10/week= $115 due upon registration
