(Harper Neidig, The Hill) – Simultaneous with Trump’s proclamation of his VP running mate, Gov. Mike Pence, on Friday was the release of their logo over the media.
Naturally, when it’s something about Trump, there always arises a take that is controversial or at least, a getter of people’s interest. There’s no difference with the first logo released for Trump and Pence. It contained a symbol with the capital letters T and P intertwining each other with white and red bars at their right. Below the symbol is the phrase “TRUMP PENCE MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” It was the symbol that provoked people’s reaction, claiming that the same was “suggestive” of intimacy. It was not, however, shown to be their official logo.
Today, a new image without the “suggestive” symbol is running on Trump’s official website at www.donaldjtrump.com and on his twitter account.
