(Sue Lowden) – We are now within four weeks of the Primary Election in the Republican primary, and I need your help more than ever. Within the last week, I have campaigned in Carson City, Minden, Las Vegas, Reno, Winnemucca, Elko, Wells, West Wendover, Incline Village, Dayton and Las Vegas. We are working very hard, and the response to my new ad has been phenomenal.

As the frontrunner in this Republican Primary, I have clearly put a scare into Harry Reid and his political machine.

The most recent poll from Rasmussen Reports shows me in the best position of all Republican candidates to beat Harry Reid. According to their statewide poll, I beat Harry “Robust” Reid by a 52 to 39 margin! Obviously, I had the attention of Nevada’s senior senator very early on in my campaign – and despite spending more than $8 million already, Harry Reid’s numbers remain at all-time lows.

As you’ll recall, Harry Reid entered this campaign by threatening to “vaporize” me. Of all the broken promises he has made to Nevadans over the decades, this is one I believe he intends to keep. On behalf of hundreds of thousands of underemployed Nevadans who are saddled with the nearly $15 trillion of debt, and the thousands more who have lost their homes, their businesses and their retirement savings, I will not cower to his bullying tactics and threats!

Harry Reid trying to “vaporize” me to salvage his taxpayer-funded career in Washington is not a surprise. His campaign and its political allies have attacked me, my family, our businesses and they are even taking out newspaper ads and calling our employees in their homes – begging them to turn over any information they can turn over and use against me in this campaign.

How desperate and pathetic can a career politician be?

Now, the SEIU and other east coast liberal interests have joined Harry Reid to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to attack me – trying to influence Republican votes in this Primary campaign. Harry Reid and his allies know that if they have to pull out all stops to try and beat me in June because I’m the conservative reformer who can beat Harry “Robust” Reid in November.

And finally, out of desperation in his own campaign, Republican Danny Tarkanian has decided to stand with Harry Reid, the SEIU and those east coast liberal interests in joining the mud-slinging. I expect such behavior from Harry and his henchmen, but it’s unfortunate to see within our own Party. In fact, Danny Tarkanian even took time away from attacking me to attack Republican activists, volunteers and voters.

My campaign was launched on October 1, 2009. On that very day, I promised to run a positive, solutions-based campaign that respects the will of the voters and understands that Nevadans of all political parties are desperate to get back to work, stay in their homes and care for their families. Further, I pledged that if I were not successful on June 8, I would rally around our nominee. That said, I fully intend to win because voters in every corner of our state and everywhere in between have pledged their support, volunteered thousands of hours on my behalf and have praised my positive approach.
