Fine Wine, Fierce Advocacy: The Invisible Enemy Dinner Honors Our Vets

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, The Invisible Enemy (TIE), a Las Vegas-based nonprofit, will host a five-course wine-pairing dinner at Mezzo Italian Bistro and Wine, located at 4275 N. Rancho Drive, Suite 130.

The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and includes a raffle and silent auction.

The evening will feature fine food, premium wines donated by Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company, and a meaningful mission: to support veterans exposed to toxic radiation and chemicals during nuclear testing on the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR).

Advocating for NTTR Veterans

Thousands of U.S. service members and Department of Defense employees were stationed at or near the NTTR during decades of nuclear weapons testing.

Many later developed severe illnesses linked to that exposure.

While other veteran groups receive care and compensation, NTTR veterans and their families are still waiting for recognition and federal support.

TIE is leading efforts to change that through new bipartisan legislation now moving through Congress.

During the dinner, Ed Pagano, senior legislative advisor and partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, will deliver an update on the bills’ progress and what they could mean for affected veterans.

Event and Sponsorship Details

Tickets are $200 per person, and include a multi-course dinner with fine wine pairings.

The evening will also feature a silent auction with exceptional items and experiences.

Corporate sponsorships are available at four levels, each with tiered recognition benefits, including visibility on TIE’s website, social media, press releases, and event signage.

Proceeds from the event will fund TIE’s nationwide advocacy efforts, including travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers and policy strategists.

How to Attend

Seating is limited, and early reservations are encouraged.
