Nevada Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo is gearing up for what looks to be the biggest political announcement of the year.
On Monday, September 15, 2025, Lombardo will take the stage at Rancho High School in Las Vegas for a “special announcement.”
While the campaign isn’t saying it outright, it’s clear this is when Lombardo will make it official: He’s running for re-election next year.
Of course, Democrats are already salivating at the chance to take Lombardo down.
Their likely nominee?
Nevada Attorney General Aaron “Woke” Ford.
And the contrast couldn’t be clearer:
- Joe Lombardo is a straight-shooting former sheriff. Aaron Ford is a slick, fork-tongued lawyer.
- Lombardo has GSD (Get Sh*t Done). Ford has TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).
- Lombardo is a Battle Born Nevadan. Ford is a San Francisco radical.
- Lombardo supports President Trump’s efforts to fix what Biden broke. Ford seems to file a new lawsuit every day to stop him.
- Lombardo works to enforce our nation’s immigration laws. Ford works to help illegal immigrants duck the law.
- Lombardo works to put criminals in jail. Ford works to keep them out or get them out.
- Lombardo works to give parents private school choices. Ford works to keep our kids locked in failing, union-run government schools.
- Lombardo works against raising taxes. Ford never met a tax he wouldn’t hike.
- Lombardo works for strong election security. Ford refused to prosecute an admitted “double voter.”
- Lombardo is a truth-teller. Ford serves up more whoppers than Burger King.
Lombardo has also set the record for most vetoes by a Nevada governor – protecting our state from legislative Democrats who are hell-bent on turning our state into “East California.”
Meanwhile, the race-baiting Ford has spent his career cozying up to the far-left, pushing policies that put teachers unions over students, tax-eaters over taxpayers, and criminals over victims.
He likes to talk tough about protecting Nevadans, but he supported turning Nevada into a “sanctuary state,” as well as “defund the police” policies.
Remember this golden oldie from Ford on April 8, 2019?
“It is clear simply incarcerating people will not keep Nevada safer and we must use the criminal justice system to rehabilitate offenders so they may rejoin society as productive members.”
You mean like Decarlos Brown Jr. – who was arrested and “rehabilitated” 14 times before brutally stabbing and killing an innocent young woman, Iryna Zarutska on a train last week?

When George Floyd died in 2020, Ford mouthed hosanas and tried to bestow sainthood on the drugged-out street rat.
Yet he hasn’t said a word about Iryna, a refugee from war-torn Ukraine.
Indeed, this next election will decide whether Nevada keeps moving forward with common-sense policies or slides backward under the failed “woke” policies of his heroes – Kamala Harris and “Tampon Tim” Walz.
If Ford and the Democrats get their way, we’ll see more government waste, more soft-on-crime policies, and more attacks on parents’ rights in education.
That’s why September 15 matters so much.
This isn’t just another campaign stop. It’s the starting gun for a fight over Nevada’s future.
If you care about safe communities, strong schools, lower taxes, and protecting Nevada families, you should be there.
Bring your friends. Bring your neighbors. Bring anyone who’s sick of Democrats running Nevada into the ground.
In politics, momentum is everything. A packed crowd sends a message – not just to the media, but to Democrats in Carson City – that Nevadans are united and energized.
The more people who show up, the stronger Lombardo’s launch will be.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the program starts at 5:00 p.m. sharp.
If you want to be part of this historic moment, don’t wait until the last minute.
Because come September 15, when Governor Lombardo officially steps up to run again, you’ll want to be in the room.
Not watching it on TV.
Not reading about it the next day.
But actually there – shoulder to shoulder with other Nevadans – making history.
Seats are limited, and the campaign is urging supporters to RSVP immediately.
