Keystone Now Hiring : Join Nevada’s Premier Pro-Business Team

Every now and then, someone reminds us of what really counts. This is one of those moments.

Keystone Corporation announced yesterday that it’s hiring a new Director of Operations in Las Vegas as the current director, Courtney Weaver, is stepping away at year’s end to focus on her growing family.

That’s the kind of choice many talk about but few make. Courtney reminds us that that family is not a talking point. It is the whole point.

Nevada conservatives know the name Courtney Holland very well.

She’s long modeled the belief that faith, family, and freedom come first. It’s one of the many reasons Citizen Outreach honored her with our “Rising Star Award” in 2023.

In a culture that pushes people to chase status and clicks, Courtney’s decision cuts through the noise. It says the quiet truth most parents feel.

Seasons change. Babies grow fast. Home needs you more than the news cycle does.

Conservatives have said this for years. Family is the first school and the best safety net. A parent’s time is priceless.

Courtney’s choice proves that our values are more than slogans. They’re a way to live. And younger activists watch moments like this. They take their cues from what we praise.

Conservatives champion Courtney’s decision. Not because politics doesn’t matter. It does. But because priorities matter more. Put first things first and the rest finds its place.

Let’s wish her well, pray for a healthy delivery, and get to work filling a vital role so the mission continues.

What Keystone Is Looking For

With the transition, Keystone is seeking a part-time-plus, contractor-based Director of Operations in Las Vegas.

Keystone is a statewide pro-business PAC. It backs limited government, lower taxes, and policies that help employers hire and grow.

The job calls for strong writing, organization, and social media skills. Experience with Nevada campaigns or legislative work is a plus.

The schedule is flexible, but events sometimes run evenings or weekends. It is contractor status, not W-2, with a monthly retainer and potential performance bonuses.

The role covers event planning, political advocacy, communications, membership, board support, and day-to-day operations.

This is not only a staffing note. It’s a picture of what responsible leadership looks like.

Conservatives need more people who can run events, manage coalitions, and keep the trains on time. We also need leaders who know when to hand the baton to the next runner.

That’s how you build a strong farm team and avoid burnout.

Nevada faces real fights on spending, school choice, energy costs, and public safety. Clark and Washoe counties need business groups that can organize, mobilize, and keep messages clear.

Keystone’s next operations leader will help do that. The work is not flashy, but it’s critical. It turns talking points into action.

How To Apply

If you love organizing wins for the pro-business cause and you can keep a calendar tight, a budget honest, and an event humming, throw your hat in the ring.
