Marty Memo – September 23, 2025

(Marty O’Donnell) – It has been awhile since I last updated you.

I’m sure like many of you, I’ve struggled with the killing of Charlie Kirk at a university in neighboring Utah.

Charlie was a powerful force for the conservative movement.

His fearlessness and fierce belief in free speech led him to respectful debates on college campuses, long forgotten and ignored venues for a Republican to show up.

Before a campaign event at UNLV last week, I took some time to attend a prayer vigil for Charlie that was taking place on campus.

The room was packed with folks from all walks of life grieving the tragic loss of Charlie’s life.

It was exactly what my spirit needed during this dark time.

I’ve been utterly disgusted by people we trust to teach kids in our schools, nurse the sick in our hospitals, or report the news on our airwaves celebrating Charlie’s public execution.

I’m particularly outraged at the two teachers in the Clark County School District who are still employed after saying vile things in social media posts.

As I told Danielle D’Souza on her father’s podcast last week, if you publicly celebrate this political assassination, you should lose your job. Period.

It is now on all of us to continue Charlie’s fight for the America he wanted to leave his children and grandchildren.

It’s the least we can do for his legacy.

That’s why I’m hitting the campaign trail as hard as ever.

I’m currently flying to Washington, D.C. to do Tim Pool’s podcast tomorrow and today we launched the first video in a new series we’re calling Marty’s Arcade.

I know politics can be lame and politicians can be even lamer.

It’s important to me to communicate what I believe in a fun way for both me and voters.

That’s what I’m hoping to do with these video game-inspired videos on the issues driving my campaign.

Our first one is on immigration. Take a look!

I’ll be hustling back home to Las Vegas as soon as I wrap with Tim Pool to prepare for my official campaign kickoff at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar.

Here are the details if you’re interested in attending.

Until next time,
Marty
