Democrats would have you believe that Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” got cancelled because he was too “woke.”
No.
He was cancelled because his ratings were in the toilet because there’s no audience willing to watch and listen to his woke garbage.
“When you do a show that attacks half of America every night and you don’t have conservatives on,” said Ben Ferguson on CNN last night, “and by the way, you’re not funny, but attacking half of America and your ratings suck, you might lose your show.”
To be sure, Colbert can still be as woke as he wants. His free speech rights remain intact.
He just no longer has the ability to use someone else’s soapbox to exercise his free speech rights.
Don’t let the door hit ya on the way out.
