MUTH’S TRUTHS

“I, I, I, Me, Me, Me”: A-Ron Ford Kicks Off the Most Self-Absorbed Campaign in Nevada History

Yesterday, Nevada Attorney General A-Ron “The San Francisco Treat” Ford (D-EI) announced his campaign for governor – for the second time, six months later.

I guess the first one didn’t exactly set the world on fire and I noticed one possible reason why.

The email announcement started:

“I’m feeling blessed, Chuck. This morning, I launched my campaign for Nevada Governor. . . . I’m running for Governor because I know what it’s like to be left behind. I grew up in a family that did everything right and still couldn’t get ahead. I’ve been the kid with no dinner, the single dad juggling work and school, and I’ve watched families like mine struggle under leaders like Joe Lombardo, who refuse to do the hard work of actually delivering for people.”

Yawn. Who cares? So what? What’s the mean to me, the voter?

This is something basic I teach conservatives at the Campaign Management College: Elections aren’t about YOU. They’re about THEM. Meaning you and me, the voters.

Ford’s announcement is all about him. I, I, I, I, I.

It’s the perfect opening for a vanity campaign that’s all about Ford, not the Nevada voters. The only surprise was that he didn’t play the race card…yet.

But his TWO-PARAGRAPH follow-up email in the afternoon was even worse…

  • “My campaign for governor…”
  • “I wanted…
  • “I’m humbled…”
  • “I’m grateful…”
  • “I’m energized…
  • “I’m more determined…”
  • “I’m running because…”
  • “I’ve lived…”
  • “I’ve been…”
  • “I know…”
  • “I’ve never forgotten…”
  • “I fight for…”

I, yi, yi, yi, yi!!!

A-Ron is nothing but a two-bit, race-hustling, far-left wannabe who’s only where he is right now thanks to DEI politics.

He truly believes the world revolves around him and that he’s the best thing since sliced white bread.

In reality, he’s probably the best thing Lombardo could run against next year. Let the games begin!

P.S. Most GOP political consultants, press secretaries, and communications directors burp up crap like this, too. It’s one of the areas of true bi-partisanship.
