Switching over to our new format for Nevada News & Views right before the start of the 2025 legislative session was a challenge, to say the least.
We were busy learning how to “perfect” the use of these new AI (artificial intelligence) tools while simultaneously bringing on new political writers who didn’t have a whole lot of experience in news reporting.
They all did a great job!
We covered bills, issues, and players from a CONSERVATIVE perspective and published articles on them you wouldn’t find anywhere else in the mainstream press.
And now that we’re no longer drinking from a fire hose, we’re ready to take it up a notch and expand our coverage.
Let me ‘splain what we’re doing and how – and ask for your help…
We recently learned about plans for a new “tuition-free” private school coming to Nevada – a story no one else has covered.
So one of our writers, Kristen Kniep, arranged this week to do a recorded Zoom interview with its founder.
The recorded interview was then uploaded to an AI tool for transcription. And that transcription was spot on – unlike similar services in the past.
The transcript was then uploaded into another AI tool to generate a news article based on the interview.
And that article was published today in Nevada News & Views. Click here.
This simple – comparatively fast – process will enable us to publish articles on conservative projects, leaders, and businesses faster and better than was “humanly” possible before AI came into our lives.
In fact, Kristen and I met a gentleman who owns a Trump merchandise store in Las Vegas at the Nevada Republican Club’s monthly “happy hour” at the Ahern Hotel on Tuesday and Kristen will next work on a feature telling his story.
An article I guarantee you won’t find anywhere in the traditional press.
We also met a retired gentleman from southern California who has an extensive history of conservative activism that continues to this day here in Las Vegas.
He’s a genuine “unsung hero” grassroots volunteer and we’re planning on doing a separate feature on him in the coming days.
