The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of Reno Stronger this Thursday, October 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1128 East 4th Street, Reno.
The event marks the official expansion of the Vegas Stronger mission into Northern Nevada, with a new facility designed to help some of Reno’s most vulnerable residents rebuild their lives through behavioral health care, recovery support, and wellness programs.
Guests will have the chance to tour the new center, meet the team, and learn more about the Stronger Company’s integrated treatment model. Food and refreshments will be provided.
Speakers at the event will include Grant Denton, Executive Director of Reno Stronger and founder of Karma Box; David Marlon, Co-Founder and CEO of Vegas Stronger; Dani Doehring of Reno Stronger; Reno Stronger Graduate Alumni; and Tim Robb, Director of Strategic Initiatives and Homeland Security Advisor for Governor Joe Lombardo’s office.
“We built Reno Stronger for people who are ready to rebuild—from the inside out,” said Grant Denton, President of Reno Stronger. “Recovery has to start with the mind and the heart. Once people start healing mentally, the body follows. That’s why our gym, our art therapy, and our mindfulness programs exist—to support recovery, not replace it. Reno deserves a place that brings all those pieces together under one roof.”
The new Reno Stronger center is built around a simple belief: recovery comes first. Its programs combine behavioral and mental health treatment with fitness, art therapy, mindfulness, and meditation to promote whole-person wellness.
Attendees at the grand opening will also enjoy live art installations, guided tours, and a look at the on-site recovery gym and wellness spaces that complement the organization’s therapy programs.
Reno Stronger provides behavioral health services, substance use recovery support, case management, peer mentorship, and therapeutic programming – all under one roof. The program’s goal is to help individuals manage stress, rebuild identity, and sustain long-term recovery.
As a sister organization to Vegas Stronger, Reno Stronger expands a proven Nevada-based model that addresses addiction, mental illness, and homelessness through a treatment-first approach. Together, the two programs aim to connect people to purpose, health, and community statewide.
