(Grover Norquist) – The media games about the ongoing Schumer Shutdown are all focused on the wrong thing: which party is to blame?
The real fight is about ObamaCare.
It’s the first time in years that Republicans in Congress have had a chance to push back on this disastrous government health insurance scheme.
Senate Democrats are refusing to fund the ongoing operations of the federal government because they want $450 billion to make COVID era subsidies for ObamaCare permanent.
The pandemic is over and these handouts, that go directly to insurance companies, should be too.
Click here to tell your elected officials in Washington to stand strong, don’t give in to Chuck Schumer’s demands, and pass a clean continuing resolution to reopen the government.
As Congressman Chip Roy recently wrote,
“The jig is up, the pandemic is over and my colleagues shouldn’t blink in any other direction. Republicans must prove that we are for healthcare freedom and against socialized medicine. If we cave on these expensive and outdated subsidies, achieving our goals will be nearly impossible.”
This is not about who gets blamed for shutting down the government, this is the moment when we say enough to ObamaCare and begin fighting back.
