The Clark County Republican Party (CCRP) is teaming up with Turning Point Action to host a precinct training session on Friday, September 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event will take place at Calvary Red Rock Church, 10050 Banbury Cross Drive in Las Vegas.
Training the Ground Game
Precinct training is the backbone of any successful political effort.
Local leaders say the goal is to give Republican activists the tools they need to engage neighbors, boost voter turnout, and build strong community networks ahead of the 2026 election cycle.
The training will cover how precinct representatives can organize at the neighborhood level, communicate effectively with voters, and maximize turnout.
Attendees will also learn how to use voter data more strategically.
A Lineup of Local Leaders
Several well-known Republican figures will share insights during the training. Confirmed speakers include:
-
Jill Douglass, CCRP Chairwoman
-
Guadalupe Reyes, CCRP Political Director
-
James Rogers, CCRP Precinct Director
-
Iris Stone, Pigeon Project, Nevadan’s Can
-
Sue Stitt, Summerlin Patriots
Each speaker will offer a different perspective on how grassroots activists can make an impact.
Focus on Turnout Data
Organizers say one highlight of the program will be teaching volunteers how to read and use turnout data.
Understanding where Republicans are falling short – or gaining ground – is key to winning future elections in Clark County, where Democrats have long held the advantage in registration and turnout.
By equipping volunteers with data-driven strategies, the CCRP hopes to close that gap.
RSVP Required
The training is free to attend, but RSVPs are required to ensure enough space and materials for participants.
Interested individuals can register online at ClarkCountyRepublicanParty.com or through the event link provided on the flyer.
