With Brett Sutton at the Wheel, Keystone Gears Up for 2026

Keystone is proud to announce that its 2025 Board of Directors slate has been overwhelmingly approved by membership, ushering in a new chapter of leadership and momentum heading into a pivotal election cycle.

Brett Sutton has been elected as Keystone’s new Board President, succeeding Darren Wilson, who will continue to serve as Past President after five years of dedicated leadership.

Wilson was elected President in January 2020, just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the economy and suspended events nationwide. Under his steady guidance and with the support of the Keystone board, the organization not only weathered the storm but came back stronger than ever.

During Wilson’s tenure:

  • Keystone launched its Young Professionals Network in September 2020, investing in the next generation of business leaders even amid shutdowns.

  • In 2022, Keystone played a key role in the elections of Governor Joe Lombardo, Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony, and State Controller Andy Matthews.

  • In 2024, Keystone helped elect 19 pro-business candidates across Nevada, protect Governor Lombardo’s veto power, fund critical races, support Voter ID’s placement on the ballot, and successfully oppose Ranked Choice Voting (Question 3).

With Sutton’s leadership, Keystone is well-positioned to continue building on this record of success.

“It’s a pleasure to congratulate our newly elected Board of Directors and officers. I’m especially proud to welcome Brett Sutton as our new President, and to recognize Darren Wilson for his remarkable leadership over the past five years. Darren helped guide Keystone through the storm of 2020 and leaves behind a legacy of resilience, growth, and results.”
John Gibson, Keystone Chairman

“2026 will be a defining moment for Nevada and for Keystone’s mission. We must re-elect Governor Lombardo, pass Voter ID once and for all, and protect free-market values across the state. I’m honored to serve as President at such a critical time, and I’m especially thankful to Darren Wilson for leading this organization through some of its toughest years and leaving it stronger than ever.”
