Call to Action: Thank and Lobby GOP Leaders on Schumer Shutdown

(Richard Viguerie) – Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party/country.

That well-known statement was written in the late 19th Century by Charles E. Weller as a teaching aid for students learning the typewriter.

However, it perfectly fits today’s urgent need for conservatives.

Remember candidate Donald Trump said in the 2016 presidential campaign that we will get tired of winning.

At a recent meeting of conservative leaders, I asked them if we were tired of winning. The reply was chuckles and laughs.

Today we have an urgent need for all conservative leaders/activists to take four action steps to help us continue to win under President Trump’s leadership.

Why?

Because President Trump and Republican members of Congress are under tremendous pressure to open the government and give Democrats what they want, which is to massively grow the size of government.

President Trump and Republican members of Congress need to know that we have their back, and that we’re doing all we can to organize grassroots support on their behalf.

There are four action steps you need to take quickly. I will give you the first three this week, and the remaining one next week.

1.) Express your thanks to President Trump for his strong leadership, including standing up to the Democrats who have shut down the government in pursuit of bigger government.

Urge President Trump to stand firm and not in any way compromise with the Democrats and grow government.

You can send your message by postal mail to: The White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20500, or online at www.whitehouse.gov/contact.

2.) Express your thanks to Republican leaders Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader John Thune and also urge them not to compromise with the Democrats in a way that causes government to grow.

You can contact Speaker Johnson at H-232, The Capitol, Washington, DC 20515, by phone at 202-225-4000, or reach him online at mikejohnson.house.gov/contact/contactform.htm.

You can contact Sen. Thune by mail at: United States Senate SD-511, Washington, DC 20510, by phone at 202-224-2321, or send him a message online at www.thune.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/contact.

3.) Express your thanks to all Republican members of Congress for standing up to the Democrats who have shut down the government in their push to expand it. Urge the Republican members of Congress to stand firm and not cave to the Democrats.

Many GOP members of Congress are under enormous pressure to re-open the government by caving to the Democrats and accepting their massive growth of government scheme.

You can call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to speak to your specific member of Congress.

You can also send a message by postal mail to: The Honorable (Name), U.S. Senate (or U.S. House of Representatives), Washington, DC 20510 (20515).

If each of us takes a number of action steps, it will have the effect of bypassing Big Corporate Media and it will get our message to hundreds of millions of Americans.
