Beginner’s Guide to ANYBODY (Even You!) Becoming a Conservative Keyboard Warrior

Posted By

OK, gang, it’s time to come down out of the peanut gallery and get in the game – even if you’ve never been particularly active on social media before. Here’s how . . .

While many political consultants and establishment officials pooh-pooh the power and effectiveness of online “keyboard warriors,” Elon Musk was right a year ago when he declared, “YOU are the media now.”

But too many conservative activists are still ceding the online battlefield to the left (including the “fake news” media), which has an army of activists creating an online echo chamber to spread its lies and talking points.

There’s an old piece of political wisdom which warns that an attack that goes unanswered is assumed to be true.

That’s why so many people are still buying into the Democrats’ claims about “affordability” even though the economy continues to improve under the Trump administration.

Just look at the cratering cost of gas around the country. In some states it’s dipped below $2 bucks a gallon!

Political strategist Roger Stone has long advised candidates and campaigns to not let an attack go unanswered. He emphasizes the importance of always responding to political attacks to prevent them from gaining credibility.

The underlying principle is that silence can be interpreted as an admission of guilt or weakness, especially in the public eye. And doing nothing more than simply retweeting a response to a Democrat attack can be powerful and effective.

Now, most people think you have to be loud, famous, or online all day to help the conservative movement. You don’t. So here’s how to get started . . .

X works on a simple rule: the more early engagement a post gets, the farther the platform spreads it.

That means every time you like, repost, quote-post, or reply, you help:

  • Push conservative messages to more people
  • Show the public that our side has support
  • Shape what undecided voters see as they scroll
  • Push back against narratives pushed by the media or the left
  • Give conservatives more reach without paying for ads

Your small daily actions help build a louder signal for our side. Think of it like adding your voice to a choir. One voice is small. Hundreds become impossible to ignore.

You don’t need special skills. You just need a phone, a few minutes, and this step-by-step guide.

STEP-BY-STEP: HOW TO AMPLIFY CONSERVATIVE MESSAGING ON X

STEP 1: Set up your X account

  1. Go to x.com.
  2. Click “Create account.”
  3. Type your name and email or phone.
  4. Make a password.
  5. Pick a simple username, like:
    • @NevadaPatriot
    • @SilverStateWatcher
    • @ParentsForNevada
  6. Add a simple profile picture (optional). A flag works fine.

You’re now ready to help.

STEP 2: Follow key conservative accounts

To boost good content, you must first see it.

  1. Use the search bar at the top.
  2. Type a name:
    • President Donald Trump
    • Nevada conservative candidates
    • Local conservative journalists
    • Policy groups
  3. Click their profile.
  4. Hit Follow.

Start with 20–40 accounts. This gives you a steady flow of useful posts to amplify.

Starter kit of conservatives to follow:

National: @realDonaldTrump, @RealJamesWoods, @RapidResponse47, @PressSec, @VP, @ScottJenningsKY, @libsoftiktok, @CollinRugg, @BillMelugin_, and @EndWokeness

Nevada: @MarkAmodeiNV2, @ChuckMuth, @VictorJoecks, @ValeriaGurr, @RJpolitics, @teamlombardonv, @Lombardo_Press, @RealAnnieBlack, @Neely4Nevada, and @NevadaNewsViews

STEP 3: Learn the 3 basic tools

These are the actions that boost conservative messages every day.

LIKE (tap the heart)

This signals to X that the post is good.

How to do it:

  1. Find the heart icon under a post.
  2. Tap it. It fills in. Done. Takes 1 second.

REPOST (share the post exactly as-is)

How to do it:

  1. Under the post, find the two arrows making a square shape.
  2. Click it.
  3. Select Repost.

This spreads the message to your followers and boosts it in the algorithm.

QUOTE-POST (share the post with your own one-line message)

This used to be called a “quote tweet.”

How to do it:

  1. Click the repost icon.
  2. Choose Quote.
  3. A typing box pops up.
  4. Write one short line, such as:
    • “Nevada families deserve better than this.”
    • “Strong message.”
    • “The media won’t say this, but it’s true.”
  5. Hit Post.

This helps even more than a plain repost because your comment adds framing.

STEP 4: Post simple replies that help shape the conversation

Replies matter because lots of undecided voters read the comment section.

How to reply:

  1. Under a post, click the speech bubble icon.
  2. Type one simple sentence.
  3. Click Reply.

Keep replies calm and short. Examples:
• “Parents should be in charge.”
• “This hurts Nevada taxpayers.”
• “Common sense.”

STEP 5: Use Lists to save time each day

Lists help you find important posts fast.

How to make a List:

  1. On the left menu, click Lists.
  2. Click New List.
  3. Name it something like:
    • “Nevada Conservatives”
    • “School Choice Voices”
    • “Local Races”
  4. Add accounts to it.

Clicking a List shows you only those accounts, saving you from endless scrolling.

NEW SECTION: FOLLOWING OPPONENTS & “FACTING” MISLEADING POSTS

Amplifying conservatives is half the job. The other half is politely correcting political opponents when they post something false or misleading.

Here’s how to do it the right way – calm, clean, and effective.

STEP 6: Follow your political opponents (for monitoring purposes)

You’re not following them because you like them. You’re following them so you see when they post misleading content.

How to do it:

  1. Use the search bar.
  2. Type the name of a Democrat politician, activist, or group.
  3. Click their profile.
  4. Hit Follow (or put them in a private List – explained below).

To avoid clogging your feed, add them to a private List:

  1. Go to Lists.
  2. Click New List.
  3. Name it “Opposition Watch.”
  4. Turn on Private (so they won’t know you’re watching).
  5. Add opponents’ accounts.

Now you can check on them anytime.

Here’s a list of Nevada libtards to follow and get the ball rolling:

@RosenforNevada, @SenCortezMasto, @repdinatitus, @RepSusieLee, @RepHorsford, @AaronDFordNV, @Nicole4Nevada, @nvdems, and @RalstonReports

STEP 7: When they post something misleading, “fact” them politely

You are NOT there to fight or insult. You are there to correct the record in a short, clear, helpful way. Here’s the safest, most effective way to do that:

Click the speech bubble under their post

This opens the reply box.

Keep your correction extremely short. One sentence is best. Examples:

  • “This leaves out the full story. Here’s the actual number from the state report.”
  • “That claim isn’t accurate. The law says the opposite.”
  • “Here are the real facts from Nevada’s budget office.”

Do NOT insult. Do NOT argue. Do NOT write paragraphs.

  1. Add a link, screenshot, or source if possible

This makes your correction stronger and helps other readers. Examples of sources:

  • A state budget summary
  • A government fact sheet
  • A court ruling
  • A news article with verified quotes
  • A screenshot of the real data

This builds credibility and shows people our side has facts on its side.

Keep the tone steady and calm

People trust the calm voice in the room. Simple, clear corrections earn more respect than angry ones.

STEP 8: Repost and quote-post conservative corrections

If someone else on our side posts a clear correction of a misleading claim:

  1. Repost it to help spread it.
  2. Or Quote-post it with a short line:
  • “Here are the real facts.”
  •  “Important correction for Nevada voters.”
  • “Good breakdown of what’s actually happening.”

This helps truth travel farther than the original spin.

STEP 9: Your daily routine (3–5 minutes)

Do this once per day:

  1. Check your Conservative List
    • Like 3 posts
    • Repost 3 posts
    • Quote-post 1–2 posts
    • Reply to 2–3 posts
  2. Check your Opposition Watch List
    • If there’s a misleading post, reply with one simple correction
    • Or repost a conservative correction if someone else already handled it

You’re done.

This slow, steady, daily pattern builds real reach for our side.

This is simple work. It’s quiet work. But it’s powerful work.

You don’t need to fight with anybody. You just need to help good messages rise and false claims fall.

This is the modern-day version of “let your fingers do the walking.” So crack your knuckles and get into the fight.

WE NEED YOU!
