Can You Handle The Truth?

(Congressman Allen B. West, R-FL) – “You can’t handle the truth.”

That may be one of the most famous lines in film from the past 20 years. But it sums up exactly how I feel about so many of the Democrats and mainstream media who have made it a full-time job to silence me and try to make sure I have an uphill re-election battle.

We can’t let the radical left and the Democrat establishment win due to lack of funds.

Here’s a simple truth that I’d like to share with you.

The Democrat campaign committee has named me their number one target for defeat in 2012 – something I deem as an honor.

They have called me dangerous. They’ve cooked up conspiracy theories about me Oliver Stone would shake his head at. They’ve even accused me of being a white supremacist – what a bunch of loons!

Next they’ll be blaming me for the weather and the losing record of their favorite baseball team. But I really don’t care for two reasons.

First, I have friends like you who come out in the hundreds to town hall meetings to help me fight. And second, I’m not going to stop standing up for the principles that make America exceptional.

President Obama has failed our nation. Democrats in Congress are aiding and abetting him in his wrong-headed agenda. And the mainstream media is falling just short of brainwashing in their unconscionable defense of what is happening to this country.

In short, it’s time to fight.
