Casino Vets and Cocktail Servers Rejoice – Tip Tax Is Dead!

After years of watching hardworking Americans leave the table with less than they earned, the “No Taxes on Tips” policy has officially passed, and I couldn’t be more proud to see it happen.

As a high-limit pit boss with over 25 years in the casino industry, I’ve seen firsthand just how much tips mean to service workers.

For many of us, they aren’t just a thank-you, they’re our paycheck.

And when Uncle Sam came knocking for a cut of that tip money, it hurt the very workers who keep America’s hospitality and entertainment industries running.

When the proposal to eliminate taxes on tips first came up, plenty of people asked me, “Do you really think this will pass?”

My answer was always yes. Not because it was easy, but because it was right.

I’ve worked alongside cocktail servers, valets, bellmen, and dealers who count on tips to pay the rent, put food on the table, and give their kids a better life.

This change doesn’t just boost take-home pay, it restores a sense of fairness.

For once, Washington did something that actually helps the middle class without strings attached.

This is a win for Las Vegas, for every tipped worker across the country, and for anyone who’s ever busted their tail to earn a little extra by going above and beyond.

No taxes on tips means more money in the pockets of real workers. And if you’ve ever worked for one, you know they’ve earned it.
