Trump’s back. He pulled it off. Again.
And a whole lot of conservatives are sitting back, cracking open a cold one, and thinking, “We’re good now.”
Wrong. Dead wrong.
Because winning the presidency doesn’t mean jack squat if we hand the rest of the country over on a silver platter.
Let’s talk about the “Christmas & Easter Republicans.”
You know the type.
The political version of churchgoers who only show up twice a year – Christmas and Easter.
These folks only vote when the presidency is on the line.
Every four years they dust off their voter card, punch the ticket for the Republican at the top of the ballot, and vanish like smoke until the next big show.
That mindset right there? That’s how you LOSE Congress. That’s how you LOSE a nation.
These C&E’ers aren’t lazy. They’re not stupid. They’re just… comfortable.
And that comfort? It’s a loaded gun pointed at America’s future.
The Left’s Not Playing Politics, They’re Building a Takeover
While you’re celebrating, they’re recalibrating.
They’re locking in power through the back doors: judges, agencies, commissions, election rules, unelected bureaucrats.
Stuff most folks don’t even notice.
They don’t need the White House to win. They’re baking their agenda into the system like concrete.
And by the time the C&E Republicans wake up again, the rules are already changed, the refs are already bought, and the field’s been tilted so far left you need climbing gear just to stand up.
Presidential races feel like the Super Bowl. Midterms? They’re more like the plumbing.
But here’s the thing: when the plumbing breaks, the whole damn house floods.
Midterms decide who writes the laws, confirms the judges, funds the agencies, runs your kids’ schools, regulates your business, taxes your income, and shapes your life.
If you think Trump alone can stop the flood, you’re seriously mistaken.
Battlefield Nevada!
Here in Nevada, we’ve seen the Left’s playbook in action.
Ballot harvesting. Voter roll scandals. Rule changes that make your head spin.
And lies that make Pinocchio blush.
Gov. Lombardo’s trying to hold the line, but with a Democrat (and RINO) Legislature, he’s basically bringing a spoon to a gunfight.
Meanwhile, crime ticks up. Grocery bills climb. Small businesses drown in red tape. And state agencies just keep growing.
Midterms and state/local elections decide whether we fight back or roll over.
Ask small business owners buried in regulations.
Ask parents who’ve been iced out of their kids’ education.
Ask law-abiding citizens wondering why criminals get second chances before they get justice.
Government doesn’t just grow. It takes. And it doesn’t stop unless YOU stop it.
Here’s Your Wake-Up Call
If the C&E Republicans want their grandkids to live in a country where freedom means something, then showing up every four years to vote for Trump ain’t gonna cut it.
You want to fix the country? Start in your own backyard.
That means midterms. That means state races. That means local control.
You can cheer for the quarterback all you want. But if the rest of the team doesn’t show up, you lose.
So yeah, Trump’s back. But unless YOU get off your butt this November and vote in down-ballot races?
We lose everything anyway. Let that sink in.
