Chairman’s Brunch Pumps up GOP Faithful

Chairman’s Brunch Pumps up GOP Faithful

(Lori Piotrowski) – More than 200 conservatives packed the Italian American Club on Sunday, October 3, to rally behind Republican candidates at the Chairman’s Brunch. The brunch was hosted by Nevada State Republican Party Chairman Mark Amodei and Clark County Republican Party Chairman Frank Ricotta, who also emceed the event.

Mark Amodei addressed the enthusiastic audience as he encouraged the attendees to continue to work hard to elect our Conservative Republican candidates.

The keynote speaker, RNC Chairman Michael Steele, energized the crowd, stressing party unity. “Let’s get about the business. The people are waiting for us to get it done. Get with the program or step off–this is a team effort. This isn’t your mama and daddy’s party any more. It’s yours. This is the Great Opportunity Party!”

Steele spoke to the efforts of volunteers throughout the U.S. during this election cycle, stating that the Democrats had contacted over 400,000 voters. “That’s impressive in an election year such as this one. But as of today, we have touched over 18 million!” He continued, “This race is about making a difference. It’s not enough to hold up a sign. The work is the phone calls, the door knocks–reaching out to others and telling them that our party is willing to fight for them.”

To much applause, he also emphasized that “we are 30 days from transforming the country, bringing change the people want, not what Obama wants.”

I realize that not everyone can make every event, but it’s time for everyone to do something. We have only days before early voting begins. This year is our year to bring Hope and Change!

Let’s kick our election into high gear!
