(NN&V Staff) – Citizens United Political Victory Fund (CUPVF), the affiliated PAC of Citizens United, announced today that they have committed $500,000 to the defeat of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. The media campaign will include statewide television commercials in Nevada and web advertisements.
“Harry Reid is the symbol of the failed Democrat Congress,” said David N. Bossie, President of Citizens United. “With Nevada’s record unemployment rate at 14.4 percent, and our national debt over $13 trillion, Harry Reid has sunk America and Nevada into an economic abyss. Harry Reid has been at the controls of record spending, and has supported every major liberal policy initiative that President Obama has proposed. Nevadans can expect more of the same if Harry Reid is elected to another six-year term in November.
“Harry Reid has displayed time and again that he is out-of-touch with his fellow Nevadans. Just this year he said on the Senate floor ‘Only 36,000 people lost their jobs today which is really good.’ I am sure Nevadan families who are unemployed would beg to differ.
