Better late than never?: The LV Sun, 25 days after we broke the story about the Nevada Democratic Caucus endorsing in a contested primary, decided it was worth reporting. Check our 8/27 posting on the Archives.
The issue isn’t just the endorsement, which will serve to kill off Tammy Peterson’s candidacy in the SD—I know, I live in it and work its precincts—it’s also that Sen Steven Horsford is one of the state party’s DNC reps, duly re-elected by the state central committee last May, and he knows he has no business endorsing anyone in a contested primary.
The other DNC rep, hyper-corrupt Erin Bilbray Kohn-Artist’s fingerprints are all over this endorsement too, Ms Peterson went through her EmergeNV ‘training’ program and is probably represented by Erin now too because EmergeNV is nothing more than a group that trains women to write big fat checks to Erin.
I guess you could say that she’s using her non-profit, well, to profit!
The state central committee is expected to visit this and many other issues on 9/26-27 in Las Vegas at UNLV.
Horsford is wearing two hats—one as minority leader and Dem senate caucus head, and the other as DNC Rep—and one of those hats is bigger—the DNC’s, so one of them has to go and efforts to remove him as DNC rep are covertly underway within the SCC. Bilbray Kohn-Artist believes that she is absolutely entitled to profit from her DNC & EmergeNV positions.
Ms Peterson also has issues within her own law firm as people there are leaking plenty of unflattering things about her and make no mistake; the firm is firmly with Republican Barbara Cegavske. So if her own firm isn’t with her, why on earth is the caucus endorsing such an exceptionally weak candidate pre-primary?
And why are Horsford and Bilbray Kohn-Artist stuffing Tammy Peterson down everyone’s throats?
Her money? You betcha! Steven admitted to the LV Sun his not wanting to spend his caucus’s money on this race, and Erin’s eyes literally light up like a kid on Christmas morning whenever there’s some cash laying around to stuff in her purse.
I don’t think you can buy this seat Steven and Erin, but you can enjoy spending all of Ms Peterson’s money, and that’s what this is really all about folks!

Ms Peterson, you’re being played by these two for every dime you have and you don’t even know it. Perhaps you would have known if you had ever done anything party related all these years in town. They saw you and your big ‘ol purse full of cash and started salivating!
