The Democratic National Committee spent months and a pile of donor cash putting together a sweeping review of why they lost the White House – again – in 2024.
They called it an “autopsy.” They promised transparency. They swore this time would be different.
Then they buried it, fought over it, and finally dropped a half-baked version today that their own chairman won’t fully stand behind.
Classic.
The DNC Autopsy report runs 192 pages.
There is not ONE mention of Joe Biden’s advanced age or the strategic decision to shield him from a public that thought he was too old to continue as president.
Unreal.

This whole circus started after Kamala Harris and the Democrats got shellacked by President Trump.
New DNC Chair Ken Martin came out swinging in early 2025, promising real answers and criticizing how the party swept things under the rug after 2016.
The report ran nearly 200 pages. They talked to more than 300 people across all 50 states. Sounds serious, right?
Then reality hit.
Martin stacked the review committee with his own people. The final product came back riddled with errors and weak sourcing.
So instead of owning the mess, Martin suddenly called the whole exercise “navel-gazing” that would distract from winning future races.
He told Jon Favreau on Pod Save America that releasing it would just give people something to fight about.
Favreau – who used to write speeches for Obama, mind you – pushed back hard. He asked the obvious question: If there’s nothing explosive in there, why not just let people read it?
Good question. Still waiting on that answer.
Pressure built from inside the party. Some Democrats wanted the truth out, no matter how ugly.
So today – May 21st – they released a version anyway. Martin immediately distanced himself, saying it wasn’t “ready for primetime” and apologizing for the “distraction.”
Promise transparency. Deliver half-measures. Act surprised when people notice. Rinse and repeat.
From a conservative standpoint, this episode tells you everything you need to know about why millions of Americans tuned the Democrats out.
Regular folks want leaders who take responsibility. They want straight talk about what went wrong – sky-high grocery prices, open borders, policies that felt like they were written for a faculty lounge instead of a kitchen table.
Instead, the DNC is more focused on protecting insiders than fixing real problems.
Even their own buried report acknowledged some inconvenient truths – like how certain social issues cost them with voters, and how they leaned so hard on attacking Trump that they forgot to offer any positive vision of their own.
But it conveniently skipped the bigger issues that actually moved voters.
And buried in there? References to Nevada – including big spending around abortion measures and national money flowing to insiders like Senator Jacky Rosen.
Silver State voters know exactly how Washington’s priorities clash with life here on the ground, whether it’s energy costs, federal land grabs, or keeping elections honest.
Critics on the left say the party just needs to look forward and focus on 2026. Some blame outside groups. Some blame the messaging.
Fine – every side has its spin.
But conservatives see the deeper problem: this is the same crowd that demands endless investigations into everyone else while treating their own failures like classified documents.
They burned through over a billion dollars in the final stretch of the 2024 Harris campaign. And now they’re squabbling over a report instead of listening to the voters who told them enough is enough.
Here’s a simple analogy.
If your business kept losing customers, would you hide the customer survey – or study it openly so you could fix what’s broken?
Any small business owner in Nevada knows the answer. You face the music or you close up shop.
Big party machines have a different playbook: protect the insiders, spend other people’s money, and hope nobody notices the wreckage.
This whole episode is a reminder of why limited government and real accountability aren’t just slogans – they’re how things actually get better.
When leaders answer to the people instead of donors and party bosses, results follow. When they don’t, you get this.
The American people already delivered their verdict in November 2024. The DNC’s clumsy handling of this review just confirms they still haven’t heard it.
Real change comes from common sense – not from Washington drama dressed up as soul-searching.
