Good morning, everyone. Thank you, Alan. I'm happy to be here. Thank you so much for having me.

Great to have you with me this morning. So, first, I want to talk briefly about this one issue, and that is the this viral Las Vegas airport ice video that everyone saw that went viral, but but but it left out some huge details. Tell us about what it showed and what they left out.

So, according to the Las Vegas Metro Police, on July 13, ICE officers approach Funnigen, Funigen, a man that was in the United States for 10 years. That actually he overstayed his visa for 10 years, and so ICE officers had approached them in the Las Vegas airport, and so a crowd surrounded them. The officers decided to that it wasn't safe and for everybody's safety, and they walked away. So that's where the viral video happened. It got a small clip of the man being down, but without everybody knowing the facts. So that's where it takes place. The also the facts that also did my opponent did not mention was that after releasing him, walking away in the Las Vegas airport, he was later arrested in the Los Angeles airport (LAX)

Yeah, I, I, the, the way that I see it, I'm, I'm going to tell you how I see it. Okay, the ICE officers here, I think, could have done a little bit better job, and they could have said, “Can we speak to you, please, a moment, and take them quietly into another area, and then deal with the issue at that point instead of doing it out there, you know, where everyone was around. So I think that they could have done a little bit better in that. I mean, I'm not saying that ice people are perfect. I support their efforts 1,000% Doesn't mean they're perfect 100 percent of the time. So I think they could have done a little bit better job, no no doubt about it. But the fact is, is that this gentleman you talked about, Fu Nuyen, was a in here illegally at this point. I mean, people get a visa to stay here for a certain period of time, and they can try to renew it for whatever reason, his was not renewed, and he's been here illegally for an excess of 10 years, and that means that he's illegal. And when people are illegal, they are escorted out. And I know that some people think that they should stay here anyway, but we've got to have borders.

I was going to say that's right. He's a 57-year-old from Australia, citizen, and his visa was from 2013 to 2015. Yes,

Correct. So it's over 10 years. He overstayed his his visa here. I mean, you have the Democratic Socialists of America who are saying we shouldn't have borders at all. I mean, these people who are fighting ICE on this-they are really doing everything they can to destroy this country, and and that's exactly what they plan to do. So let's make the mistake about. I appreciate you bringing this up, though. I want to talk about something else I find very important, and you had new information for me that came out this morning that I didn't see, and I'll have you talk about that in the in a more in a moment. But you wrote about Sophie Cunningham saying what every Nevada mom already knows, and what is that?

Well, girls shouldn't be competing with biological boys, and women do deserve protection, fairness, regardless of the criticism, we deserve a fair level field.

Absolutely, I mean, there's there's no question that that should be the case. You and I talked about this before we went on the air, and science does back up the fact that that males, no matter what kind of treatment they go through, they are still going to be biologically superior. I'm talking about in terms of athletic ability and and some other areas to women, and and so you try to compete a male with a female, and 99% of the time the male is going to win. And it's unfair to women and young girls when they're looking for scholarships and and the like. I mean, these are scholarships going to a guy, even though it was a girls' sport.

Absolutely, there's a reason it's called women's sports. It's for women.

Yeah, no, absolutely. Now there was a case where there were two girls, and it was I guess it was in Seattle that were sitting at a game and at a basketball game, and they held signs up. Two young young girls, perhaps young teens, holding up signs that read, you know, they're for for girls in girls' sports. They were supporting Sophie Cunningham, and the result was they were vilified by not only the some of the people around them, but by the owner of the team itself.

Absolutely, and this started because this professional basketball player Sophie Cunningham, in an interview, had said that biological men should not be long competing with girls. And then after she said that, she said this was common sense. So these young two girls went to go support her, and they were wearing their gear and their their signs. And you're right, the Seattle storms they they got vilified and yelled at. Absolutely unfair.

Now, however, you had an update from this morning.

Yes, there was a report that came out from Breitbart that the Seattle storms just issue a massive apology to those young ladies, apologizing for their behavior. The girls did nothing wrong.

Well, they should apologize, but the truth truth is, is that it should never have happened in the first place. I mean, I mean, that's just. Let's just be honest about this. I mean, I'm glad they apologized, but the bell has been rung, and and they should make every effort and point to make sure that this never ever ever happens again. And they ought to also rethink their own behavior as owners of this team, you know, look in the mirror and and and look at yourself. I want to talk about I want to talk about your your candidacy in a moment. But when we come on back, though, I do want to talk about an issue connected with this. For years, Democrats were yelling, you know, girls' rights and and and they're talking about Title Nine and everything like that, and trying to defend women's women's sports, and all of a sudden you're having all these libs come out saying, “Put put the girls at the back of the bus. We want we want trans guys, guys who identify as girls, at least claim they do, to be the ones who are going to be driving girls' sports. I want to find out why you think that's happening because that, to me, is the crux of a lot of it. We're talking with Erica Neely, founder of the Hispanic Latin Alliance, also a candidate for the Ninth Assembly District, and we're going to continue with Erica Neely in just a moment, right here on Vegas at eight. She is founder of the Hispanic Latin Alliance, also candidate for the Ninth Assembly District. She will be a great Assemblywoman, and also that is my district by way of disclosure. And I'm looking forward to her being my new Assemblywoman come after the November election, Erica, I just want to get and finish the discussion we had during the last segment. What is it that you think is going on with with Democrats and libs, and I mean, especially the left wing progressive socialists, and they're they're trying to say that women should not be the. We shouldn't concentrate on women and and women's sports. It's more important to get guys in there who are who are masquerading as women. And I mean, for years they were defending Title Nine, and all of a sudden now Title Nine doesn't mean anything. And women should be at the like I said, the back of the bus. Let the let the the guys who identify as women be at the front of the bus. Doesn't make sense to me.

It doesn't either to me. I just I can't speak for them. I'm not sure what their argument or their motives, but what I could tell you is that I believe that every girl deserves dignity and respect. They deserve to be playing in a safe environment. I believe girls should have a playing a playing field that's level where they're competitive and protected. I don't believe that biological men should be competing with girls. The science is not behind it. Even the math is not behind it. You only need three males to wipe out girls' sports, so that I could tell you that I will not stop fighting for girls. As a mother of five daughters, this is extremely important to me. Protecting them in the locker room, in sports, in fairness, and in opportunities.

By the way, think about this for a moment, because how many women? Do you see are trying to change masquerade as men to play men's sports? I mean, how many? I haven't heard of any. But if you do, would you please let me know because I haven't heard of any at all.

Great. So you're running for the ninth assembly district, and one of the important issues, obviously, to you and to all of us, is the issue of of how women are being treated. But also other other big issues in this state are the are safety, education, and the economy. I mean, those are the three big issues, really, for most people in the state. And these are things that you're going to have to face as our new assemblywoman.

Yes, absolutely. And I look forward to it. I've spoken to the governor. I got endorsed by the sheriff. So safety is a big issue, not just for me, but also the endorsement that the sheriff Kevin McMahon Hill is giving, he's very being very picky and limited on who's he endorsing, and I completely back back the blue, and I'm completely for safety in our community.

Yeah, I mean, safety is number one. If if if community is not safe, education, economy, nothing means anything. What does it matter, you know? But also the other issue, of course, is education, and we need to have more education choice in the state.

Absolutely, absolutely, and 100% agree. You know, we're losing 50,000 students in CCSD, so opportunity for parents is something that they're looking for, and that we should be able to provide. Nevada is one of the states, one of five states that offers the choice on how to educate your children. And with the governor in in place, he's also offering grants and loans so that we could take advantage of those opportunities. But it's not enough. He needs more support, and I'm looking forward for this fight and to joining him and continuing supporting families.

What you just said, I want to reiterate because it's so important. What you just said, the governor has done a great job in terms of choice and improving education and helping to improve the people being responsible in education, but he can't accomplish at all unless he has people backing him up, and we're talking about assembly people and state senate, and he's had to fight the legislature who's opposed him over the last a couple of years, and now we've we've got to get you and other folks in there to support the governor's efforts in order to make sure that we accomplish his goal, his his goals will only improve the state of of Nevada, and a lot of things were ruined under the last governor because of the shutdown and all. But Lombardo has done a great job bringing it back. But he needs you and others in the legislature to back him up.

Absolutely, and he has great support. People out there are happy with what he has done, and they're tired of the politic games. They just want our state to be moving forward, keeping families. I want my family just, you know, to thrive and be happy and safe. Many of District Nine is the same thing that they want. They want to just have a life that they they could provide for their families an educated child that could live in a society where they could thrive and create their own family and be happy. That's that's all the people really want, and and and that's what we're fighting for. And what's happening is you've got people like, and I talked about this earlier this morning, like Gavin Newsom of California, the current governor, who's going to be out of a job in a few months, traveling here to campaign for the Democrat candidate for governor here, wanting to be able to control what goes on here in Nevada, and God forbid that happens. California has already done a an abysmal job of of governing themselves for years now. We don't need that kind of an influence here in the silver state.

No, absolutely. He's done. He hasn't fixed homelessness. That California has a big problem with homelessness, and him coming over here telling us how to run the state would not be great advice that Aaron Ford should be taken at all. So I'm very thankful that Governor Lombardo is in office and that we need to continue supporting the good things that he has he has been doing, but continues to do and will do more for Nevada.
