The National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NVRA) will hold its Biannual Convention in Reno, Nevada, on October 23-25, 2009 at the Atlantis Hotel. Guest speakers include Ken Blackwell, John Fund, Chris Simcox, Floyd Brown, Gov. Mike Huckabee.
The NFRA describes itself as “a grassroots movement to take back the Republican Party for the vast and disenfranchised majority of its members: Reagan conservatives, who believe in small government, lower taxes, free market capitalism, a strong defense, the right to life, and a decent America.” In short, they say, they are “the Republican Wing of the Republican Party.” The Nevada chapter was established in 1998.
