(Chuck Muth | Muth’s Truths) – White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt held her first press conference on Tuesday.
What an upgrade from the Sideshow Bob clown act of the previous administration!
She started right off the bat by declaring that “President Trump is back and the Golden Age of America has most definitely begun.”
Some highlights provided by the White House’s new Rapid Response 47 operation…
- @PressSec announces that new media — such as podcasters, social media influencers, and bloggers — can now apply for credentials to cover the Trump 47 White House: “It’s essential to our team that we share President Trump’s message everywhere.”
- @PressSec: “We will call you out when we feel that your reporting is wrong or there is misinformation about this White House … I will hold myself to the truth — and I expect everyone in this room to do the same.”
- @PressSec: “President Trump has sent a loud and clear message to the entire world: America will no longer tolerate illegal immigration — To foreign nationals who are thinking about trying to illegally enter the United States: Think again.”
- REPORTER: ICE arrested 1,179 illegals but half of them have no criminal record. @PressSec: “It’s a federal crime… If you are a foreign national who enters the United States illegally, you are by definition a criminal.”
- “The president is committed to both tax cuts AND spending cuts.” — @PressSec
- @PressSec: Individual, direct assistance from the federal government will continue. Spending on illegal DEI programs, the Green New Scam, wokeness across the federal bureaucracy, and other bloated programs will not.

Leavitt also noted that, while he was on his way out the door, Biden’s administration approved $50 million for condoms in Gaza, “a preposterous waste of taxpayer money.”
In addition, she revealed – as per President Trump’s promise – that the drones flying over New Jersey turned out to be authorized by the FAA for research and not enemy drones.
Why couldn’t Biden have just said that? Oh, well, he’s gone.
When a reporter asked, “How can we be assured you’re not gonna lie?” Leavitt replied flatly: “Actually it’s the MSM like you who have been lying for years.”
When a reporter tried to sandbag her over the rising cost of eggs and blame Trump, Leavitt shot back: “I would like to point out to each and every one of you that in 2024, when Joe Biden was in the Oval Office or upstairs in the residence sleeping, egg prices increased 65% in this country.”
Reactions to her first head-to-head with the DC press corps were overwhelmingly positive.
