(Chuck Muth) – Not that you’d know it if you only watch CNN or MSNBC, but the polls are starting to shift Donald Trump’s way. And that doesn’t include the 3-5% extra many believe are Trump’s true numbers thanks to a number of Trump voters not responding to polls or not telling the truth to pollsters.
Even Nevada Democrats and their parrots in the “fake news” media (hello, Jon Ralston!) are starting to hedge their bets; acknowledging that Nevada is in play. And if that’s true…
Republicans here have a shot at picking up some seats that otherwise would go blue.
A pick-up of two seats in the Assembly would get the GOP out of its super-MINORITY status and a pick-up of three in the Senate would put them back in the majority, a crucial objective going into the “redistricting” session next year.
To do that, Republicans need to hold onto Sens. Scott Hammond and Heidi Gansert’s seats. Should be no problem if Trump wins Nevada.
They’ll also need to pick up seats in SD-5 and SD-6 in Las Vegas. The GOP has two STELLAR candidates in those races – April Becker and Carrie Buck. April is a top-notch trial attorney and Carrie is one of the most successful educators in the entire state.
Let’s hope their campaigns are as good as the candidates.
If so, that would leave the Democrats in charge with an 11-10 majority. The “wild card” is Senate District 11. The GOP nominee is Joshua Dowden.
For Dowden to pull off a miracle, Trump is going to not only have to win Nevada, but win big and have some pretty long coattails. But it’s not outside the realm of possibility.
Especially if Gov. Sisolak keeps the state shut down through Election Day – pretty much a given.
As goes Dowden, so could go the state for Republicans. So keep your eye on this one.

Big Dan Causing Big Heartburn for Pelosi’s Mini-Me in Vegas
Nevada Rep. Susie Q. Lee (D-Nancy Pelosi) is hearing footsteps. Big footsteps. The footsteps of Republican CD-3 candidate “Big Dan” Rodimer. As such, her campaign team is in full panic mode.
They actually sent out a fundraising email today from “NOSEDIVE” that shared “the WORST possible news” …
“The non-partisan Cook Political Report just downgraded Nevada from Likely Democratic to Lean Democratic [!!!]”
Of course, it shouldn’t shock anyone that the GOP is “SURGING in Nevada.” Between the #SisolakShutdown, the DETR debacle, and Susie’s support for “peaceful protests” (#BidenRiots) and her push to get PPP loans for her husband’s business, CD-3 voters are walking away from San Fran Nan’s mini-me.
As the desperation sinks in, Suze might have to “pull a Pelosi” and go get her hair done!
If, as Vice President Pence said, we’re going to “make America great again – again,” Republicans need to retake control of the House from Pelosi, Schiff and “Mad Maxine” Waters. Lee’s seat is ripe for the picking.
If the GOP can’t win CD-3, they’re unlikely to win back the majority. So load up on your support for “Big Dan” Rodimer.

* It does no good to catch Joe Biden’s “peaceful rioters” if judges hand them get-out-of-jail-free cards so they can go back to shootin’-and-lootin’ the very next night. Finally, a judge in Pennsylvania has put an end to this catch-and-release insanity. He set bail for nine rioters in Lancaster at $1 MILLION each. None made bail. And – get this – the rioting there has all but stopped. Cold. Go figure.
* If Gov. Sisolak was REALLY serious about stopping the spread of the CHINA-19 virus in Nevada, he’d have issued a quarantine for out-of-state visitors instead of shutting down our neighborhood bars. He didn’t. So he’s not.
* Be afraid. Be very, very afraid. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal this morning, Nevada government officials “will be able to collect data on (Trump rally) attendees through contact tracing efforts.” A microchip implanted under your skin on your wrist is right around the corner.
* Brian Labus, one of the health “experts” Gov. Sisolak is listening to, told the RJ: “We’re always concerned any time even two people get together.” If ridiculous COVID-panic hyperbole like that wins the day, Nevada will NEVER reopen. Somebody needs to get some new “experts.”
