Democrats and/or the Legislative Counsel Bureau (LCB) appear to be “slow-walking” the introduction of Gov. Joe Lombardo’s BDR’s (Bill Draft Requests).
Of the governor’s five major bills this session, only his crime and housing bills have been drafted by LCB and submitted to the Legislature.
His education, election reform, and health bills are still languishing despite having been submitted to LCB months ago.
Reminder: We only have a little more than a month to go before the end of the session.
I wonder why they’re holding up Lombardo’s bills? Couldn’t be Democrats and bureaucrats playing political games, could it?
