(Chuck Muth) – Arrived alive in Carson City last night and checked in at my unofficial office at The Bank where some of us solved almost all of the world’s problems – if only for one night.
Looking forward to bringing my “Love & Politics” show to the Mt. Rose Republican Women tonight after checking in with a few legislators at The Building this afternoon.
In the meantime, here’s a quick update on the Pigpen Project…
As you may recall, last summer we submitted over 33,000 “challenges” to voters who the post office listed as having moved from where they were registered.
Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar and Attorney General Aaron Ford directed all of Nevada’s county clerks and registrars to reject all of the challenges for supposed lack of “personal knowledge” that the voter had moved.
Even when the current resident told our volunteers that the voter no longer lived there. That was declared to be “hearsay” evidence. Ugh.
Now get this…
Of those who were initially challenged, almost 900 voted BY MAIL in the November election!
Now, we don’t know if the voter unlawfully voted despite no longer living where they are registered or if someone somehow got hold of their mail-in ballot and voted it illegally.
So yesterday we began submitting Election Integrity Violation Reports (EIVR) to the Secretary of State’s office. The first one not only had moved but submitted a written “Cancellation” request to us before election day, which we forwarded to the Registrar of Voters in Clark County.
This is similar to an EIVR we submitted last April where the voter voted in person from their new address in Dallas, Texas, in the 2022 general election but also was recorded as having voted by mail in Nevada.
Double voting.
The Secretary of State’s office informed us last June that it had concluded its investigation and closed the case but has steadfastly refused to advise us as to the results of the investigation.
I filed an official public records request seeking that information on November 25, 2024. By law, the SOS was supposed to provide the documents within five business days. Instead, it advised us they couldn’t produce it until January 10, 2025.
Well, January 10th came and went. And we were advised they couldn’t comply until March 14th. For ONE DOCUMENT!
Something stinks. No wonder so many people don’t trust our elections despite all the rosy propaganda put out by Secretary Aguilar.
In other news, Douglas County has reportedly become the first county in Nevada to strike a new agreement with ICE to assist in deportation efforts. The program is referred to as a “287(g)” agreement.
Democrats aren’t happy.
In fact, Assemblywoman Cecelia Gonzalez (D-EI) has introduced a bill to turn our public schools into “sanctuary schools” where ICE and other federal law enforcement officers would be banned from doing their jobs.
In a report on the bill by News3, Kelly Chapman of the Nevada Business Alliance responded…
“As a strong advocate for law and order, I believe that no location should be off-limits to law enforcement when it comes to upholding our immigration laws. Schools should be safe places for students, but they should not serve as sanctuaries for those who break the law.”

And lastly, AG Ford recently issued a directive intended to thwart deportation efforts in Nevada. This morning, Gov. Joe Lombardo issued a statement basically telling Ford to pound sand…
“The Model Immigration Policies released by the Office of the Attorney General are currently under review by the Executive Branch. All affected state agencies will continue to comply with – and enforce – all applicable law.
“As the Attorney General has conceded, and as the governing statutes make clear, the Model Immigration Policies are non-binding and non-mandatory guidelines.
“Let me be clear: The Attorney General does not have the authority to make Nevada a sanctuary state or jurisdiction. As long as I am Governor, Nevada will continue to follow federal law.”
