MUTH’S TRUTHS

(Chuck Muth) – A little levity to start your day (satire alert!)…

Nevada News & Views (NN&V) interviewed Nevada Attorney General A-Ron Ford (D-EI).

Our reporter asked, “If you owned two homes, would you be willing to give one to a family here illegally?”

Ford, without hesitation: “Sure!”

Reporter: “If you had two vehicles, would you give one to an illegal?”

Ford: “Absolutely! It’s the right thing to do!”

Reporter: “If you had two million dollars, would you give one million to a family here illegally?”

Ford: “Yes! For the livelihood of our dreamers!”

Reporter: “If you had two bicycles, would you give one to someone here illegally?”

Ford remained silent and just looked at our reporter

So our reporter had to ask again, “Would you?”

Ford answered firmly: “No.”

Our reporter was confused and asked, “You were so generous about houses, vehicles and money, but why do you draw the line at a bicycle?”

“Because,” said Ford, “I actually own two bicycles!” (h/t: @614clinton)
