(NN&V Staff) – The Nye County School District (NCSD) extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Robert & Sandra Ellis Charitable Fund for their recent contributions to several schools within the district. Their generous donations will have a significant positive impact on students and staff.
The Robert & Sandra Ellis Charitable Fundhas donated over $35,000 to schools in Amargosa Valley, Beatty, Gabbs, Round Mountain, and Tonopah. These funds will be used at the discretion of each school’s principal to address the most pressing needs of their students and families.
In addition to the monetary donations, the foundation will also be providing Skechers shoes and socks to students in grades 7-12, and Skechers shoes and toys for students in grades Pre-K through 6. This thoughtful gesture will ensure that students have the necessary footwear and supplies to start the school year off right.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Robert & Sandra Ellis Charitable Fund for their generosity and commitment to our students,” said Bryan Wulfenstein, President of Nye County School Board. “These donations will make a real difference in the lives of our students and will help us to provide them with the resources they need to succeed.”
The NCSD is deeply appreciative of the support from the Robert & Sandra Ellis Charitable Fund and looks forward to continuing to work together to improve the lives of students in Nye County.
