(Lori Piotrowski) – It’s National School Choice Week, and RISE Resource Center and Citizen Outreach are celebrating.
On January 26, head over to the new RISE Resource Center headquarters to learn about the choices you have for your children’s education, and meet other parents who share your desire to have an active voice in shaping education.
Listen to a homeschooled Harvard graduate—Wayne Allyn Root! And Brian Calle, from the Friedman Foundation, will help you learn what Nevada needs to do to catch up to other states and their charter schools.
It all happens on Thursday, January 26. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., speakers begin at 7:00 p.m.
The Rise Resource Center is located on the property of Advent United Methodist (3460 N. Rancho Dr.), and entrance is through the playground.
