(Chuck Muth) – The Las Vegas Review-Journal has endorsed two GOP candidates in critical Clark County races for State Senate.
If Democrats pick up one net seat in the upper body, they’ll have the ability to override vetoes by Gov. Joe Lombardo.
Lori Rogich is the GOP candidate for Senate District 11. She’s an activist for the rights of disabled children and advocates for regulatory reform to support entrepreneurship and increased accountability in public education.
Her opponent, Democrat incumbent Sen. Dallas Harris, is a far-left social justice warrior who regularly plays the race, gender, and sexual preference cards to advance her liberal agenda.
In endorsing the Republican, the RJ opines that “Lori Rogich would be a welcome addition to Carson City.” Amen.
In the other critical Senate contest, incumbent Republican Carrie Buck is defending her seat against Democrat challenger Jennifer Atlas in District 5.
Sen. Buck, a former charter school principal, supports school choice while Ms. Atlas opposes it. Sen. Buck also support occupational licensing reform and cracking down on crime.
“District 5 is integral in holding off a Democratic supermajority,” the RJ notes. “Carrie Buck is our choice.”
