Sen. Rosen and President Biden (and Kamala Harris) are joined at the hip.
In 2018, while she was still in the House of Representatives, she voted against the Securing America’s Future Act which would have spent $25 billion for border security.
“It built a wall,” she said in a statement. “It hurt immigrants.”
No, it deterred ILLEGAL immigrants.
During her 2018 campaign, Sen. Rosen again said “the idea of a physical wall” was “the wrong idea.”
“If you build a six-foot wall,” she explained, “somebody may jump eight feet.”
And she continued to pooh-pooh construction of a border wall/fence in a January 2019 interview with the Las Vegas Sun, declaring, “What we have to quit talking about is a border wall.”
Then why is there a wall/fence surrounding the White House? Why did President Biden build a wall around his Delaware beach house? Why does Congress erect a wall/fence around the Capitol for events?
Does Sen. Rosen have a wall protecting her own home? Inquiring minds wanna know.
When asked if she was worried that President Biden’s dropping popularity might drag her own campaign down, Sen. Rosen replied that she would “happily” campaign by his side and that what the two of them together have done in Nevada “has been a big success story.”
Most average Nevada voters looking at their gas bill, their grocery bill, and their rent would disagree.
Indeed, on the twin pillars that make up “Bidenomics” – the “American Rescue Plan” and the horribly misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act” – Sen. Rosen voted in lockstep with President Biden and her Democrat colleagues.
In March 2021, she said she was “proud” to vote for President Biden’s stimulus plan – which stimulated nothing but sky-high inflation – and wrote, “I applaud President Biden for signing this bill into law.”
The bottom line is Sen. Rosen’s allegiance has been with President Biden and those who are far left of America’s moderate center on many of the key critical issues we face – especially illegal immigration and the economy.
