Secretary Cegavske Announces Increase in Active Registered Voters in November

(Carson City, NV; December 2, 2022) – Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske reports an increase of 43,146 active registered voters during the month of November 2022 as compared to October 2022. The total number of active registered voters in Nevada is 1,897,126, an increase of 2.33%.

Democratic Party active registered voters statewide increased by 11,301 (1.87%), while Republican Party active registered voters statewide increased by 11,921 (2.15%).  Nonpartisan active registered voters increased by 17,492 (3.16%), Independent American Party active registered voters increased by 2,382 (2.98%), and Libertarian Party of Nevada active registered voters increased by 421 (2.58%).  Active registered voters from a compilation of “other” minor political parties decreased by 371 (-0.82%).

Of the 1,897,126 active registered voters in Nevada:

  • 616,841 are Democrats (32.51%);
  • 565,121 are Republicans (29.79%);
  • 571,322 are Nonpartisan (30.12%);
  • 82,226 are members of the Independent American Party (4.33%);
  • 16,751 are members of the Libertarian Party of Nevada (0.88%); and
  • 44,865 are members of other minor political parties (2.37%).
