Non-Citizen Got Voter Card AND Ballot for June Primary in Nevada
In his prime time address this week, President Donald Trump reported that over 250,000 non-citizens were on voter rolls in four states, including Nevada.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin pegged the number in Nevada at 15,903.
Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar called the allegation “wildly speculative at best.”
He went on to assert that voter registration requires affirmation of U.S. citizenship under penalty of perjury; that IDs or other documentation are checked; and that the state maintains voter rolls actively.
“There are numerous safeguards in place to prevent noncitizens, or anyone ineligible to vote, from casting a ballot,” Aguilar told the media this week.
Aguilar is full of sheep dip.
He’s fought Citizen Outreach Foundation’s “Pigpen Project” to assist in cleaning up Nevada’s dirty voter files tooth and nail for over three years now and has hid his office’s actions on Election Integrity Violation Reports (EIVR) we’ve submitted.
It got so bad we finally had to sue him to get a judge to force his office to provide the public records on one case we submitted that caught a double voter from the 2022 election.
As for Aguilar’s assertion that voters must affirm U.S. citizenship in order to register, that process consists of simply checking a box on the form…period. We just, um, take their word for it.
But even that might not be necessary.
Last month the Pigpen Project received the following report from a Clark County voter:
“Back in February, my significant other, who is not a US citizen, received the letter I have attached in this email. It asked her if she wanted to register to vote. She is not a citizen, so we threw that letter in the trash.
“The next week her voter registration card arrived, which I have also attached a picture of. Additionally, she received a primary election ballot for the June primaries we just finished. I have no doubt that she will also receive a mail-in ballot for the general election as well.
“The Nevada DMV says they have systems in place to keep the letter that I sent you from going to non-US citizens. Obviously, those systems are faulty because she received one.”
And yes, we have copies of the letter, the ballot that was mailed to the non-citizen, and the non-citizen’s Voter Registration Card and submitted them to the Clark County Registrar of Voters for action since we get zero cooperation from the Secretary of State’s office.
Aguilar continues to tell the Big Lie that Nevada’s elections as secure and well-managed, with processes that effectively prevent ineligible voting.
He’s the real “election denier.” But if you believe him, I’ve got some great ocean-front property in Tonopah to sell you.
