Tate: Keep Your Hands to Yourself, TSA

Tate: Keep Your Hands to Yourself, TSA

November 20, 2010

(John Tate) – As a condition of flying, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) now expects you to surrender your rights and choose between a strip search in one of their naked porno-scanners or a humiliating, invasive groping, that would be considered sexual assault if you or I were to do it to an individual.

Since when has national security required feeling up little kids and grandmothers or ogling them behind a curtain?

On Wednesday night, Congressman Paul said, “Enough is enough” and introduced H.R. 6416, the “American Traveler Dignity Act”.

Contact Congress today and tell them you’ve had it with the TSA! Urge them to follow Dr. Paul’s lead by immediately cosponsoring H.R. 6416 to restore the dignity of American citizens.

Your representative needs to hear loud and clear that you refuse to surrender your or your family’s Fourth Amendment rights the moment you purchase an airline ticket.

Believe me, TSA screeners do not want to be groping your most intimate areas for the next twenty years. Their goal is simple. They believe they can humiliate you into going through their potentially harmful, radiating porno-scanners.

This is the time to tell the TSA to keep its rubber-gloved hands to itself. Once invasive procedures like this are fully entrenched, they will never be rolled back, and who knows what will be next.

Contact Congress today and tell them you’re not going to just wait in line for your turn to be assaulted. The American people are not cattle to be herded around by their masters.

(John Tate is president of Campaign for Liberty)
