The Government Doesn’t Have A “Quitter’s Day”

(Eric Bihr) – Yesterday, January 19th, was officially “Quitter’s Day.”

According to the data, yesterday was the specific date when the vast majority of people abandoned their New Year’s resolutions. Motivation faded, life got in the way, and the goals set just a few weeks ago were left behind.

We can forgive a skipped workout, but we do not have the luxury of skipping the fight for freedom.

There is one resolution that Nevada Policy did not break yesterday, and will never break: our commitment to holding the government accountable.

The machinery of big government never tires. Bureaucrats don’t take days off, and the special interests pushing for higher taxes and more control are relentless.

They are counting on the public to lose focus. They are waiting for us to look away.

That is why we are still here today, and that is why we cannot afford to stop fighting. We are the watchdog that stays awake when everyone else has gone to sleep.

We are the only barrier standing between a free Nevada and a state dominated by unchecked government control.
