Watching all these pro-illegal criminal alien protests has me re-imagining a famous scene from the “Tombstone” movie starring Kurt Russell, with Border Czar Tom Homan playing Wyatt Earp…
“All right, anti-deportation protestors. You called down the thunder, well, now you’ve got it! You see this? (Shows badge) It says ‘ICE.’ (Gestures to an arrested illegal) Take a good look at him, because that’s how you’re gonna end up! The cartels are finished, you understand me? I see an illegal alien protesting with a Mexican flag, I deport the man carryin’ it! So run, you cur! Run! Tell all the other curs the law’s coming! You tell ’em I’M coming and Hell’s coming with me, you hear? Hell’s coming with me!”
If these protestors think their public hissy fits are gonna persuade Trump and Americans to ease off the deportation pedal, they’re sadly mistaken.
As are Democrats who think their obstructions, delays, protests, lawsuits, etc., are gonna win in the long run.
Trump didn’t equivocate during the campaign like most politicians. He told the American people exactly what he’d do if elected. And the American people overwhelmingly elected him.
The very definition of “winning a mandate.”
And even before he was sworn back into office, he was already doing it – with the full backing of the voters who voted for him, and even some converts who didn’t.
So while the Democrats can continue to give their little floor speeches, make asses of themselves while grilling Trump’s nominees at confirmation hearings, and doing the Snoopy Dance when some judge issues a ruling to block what Trump’s doing and the people want…
It’s gonna come back and bite them in the keister.
The American people won’t hold it against Trump if some court blocks what he’s trying to do over some technicality. They’ll hold it against the fouled-up court system and the Democrats who abuse it.
And then we’ll have the midterm elections in 2026. And Trump will get an even BIGGER mandate. Democrats are seeding their own destruction.
Which is fine by me.
