Union thugs call Vegas tourists “losers” and “jerks”

Union thugs call Vegas tourists “losers” and “jerks”

a(NN&V Staff) – Today, the Alliance to Protect Nevada Jobs (APNJ) released footage from last weekend’s protests orchestrated by union bosses with the Culinary 226 calling tourists visiting Las Vegas “losers” and “jerks.”

Rather than negotiate in good faith, local union bosses have organized unsavory protests on the strip, hurling obscenities at tourists and deterring them from supporting the local economy.

APNJ is calling on elected lawmakers to denounce the Culinary Union’s latest tactic of harassing tourists and deterring economic activity in the Silver State.  In fact, some lawmakers have been invited to attend these protests and their voices in response to these developments are particularly warranted.

“Lawmakers should see that the union bosses at the Culinary Union are engaged in guerilla tactics that give our state a black eye,” said Zachary Moyle, spokesperson for the Alliance to Protect Nevada Jobs (APNJ).

“People from all over the world travel to Las Vegas because it is one of the top tourist destinations on the planet.  We should welcome those visitors with open arms because they spend their money in our local economy, ultimately creating more jobs and prosperity for everyone, not insult them.

“The irony of Big Labor’s approach is that it results in less tourism, fewer jobs, less tips and a weak local economy, which ultimately hurts the very workers they claim to represent,” Moyle continued.  “It is our hope that lawmakers will join with us and call for an end to these unsavory tactics and defend the employees and employers in the Silver State who stand to lose if these tactics go unchecked.”
