We Have Two Democratic Socialist Candidates Running in Nevada

America is a country that promotes freedom for all.

Although there were flaws during our birth as a nation, we started with the belief that freedom was essential.

Our founding fathers also promoted the idea that our rights are not and were never guaranteed by any single man or government.

Our rights are unalienable, they are God-given.

In other words, we’re born with these rights just by being human, not because a government gave them to us.

The democratic republican form of government we have endorses that idea.

Our economic system of capitalism allows for the freedom of all people to attempt to achieve as much as they can.

Some are and have been more successful than others. But the opportunity is there for all.

Not all philosophies support that kind of freedom.

Some people believe that we should attempt to all be the same. No one should be wealthier than anyone else. We should all have the same.

These people don’t believe that our rights are God-given. They believe the government should be the entity that gives or takes our rights.

They promote the collective ownership of the key economic drivers that dominate our lives, such as energy production and transportation.

They want people promoted by superficial means, such as race or sex. They want people to rule based on similar superficialities.

In other words, you don’t get promoted or rule because you are the best person for the job or a particular position.

In their world view, merit is meaningless.

These people believe in government control to its fullest extent. They are so-called progressives. They’re socialists, communists, fascists, nazis or whatever label that might be assigned to them.

But what they all are, are control fanatics.

In America today, the Democratic Socialists of America represents this kind of thought.

As they proclaim on their website, they champion “radical” reforms.

They want to rid communities of police forces as we currently know them.

They want social workers to answer the call of crimes being committed.

They want people to exchange their cars for various forms of public transportation whether they want to or not.

They want to limit certain behaviors under the guise of promoting something they call the “Green New Deal.”

They want tenants to take control of apartments and other housing projects. To them, individuals should not own property.

They promote internationalism. In other words, there is no reason for nations or national borders.

They celebrate the disgraced communist government of Cuba. They celebrate Castro’s revolution ignoring the thousands who were slaughtered when his thugs came to power.

But here’s the kicker.

There are two candidates running for office in Nevada who have sought the endorsement of the Democratic Socialists of America.

Vinnie Spotleson and Alex Pereszlenyi.

Vinnie Spotleson is running for the 41st Assembly District. Alex Pereszlenyi is running for the 29th Assembly District.

They’ve both sought the endorsement of the Democratic Socialists of America. Spotleson is a card-carrying member.

They both claim that they only sought the DSA support in order to get votes.

But if you don’t believe in the philosophy of an organization, why would you seek their support?

Do you think one would seek the support of any organization with which they didn’t agree? That’s a huge contradiction.

Would a candidate seek the endorsement of the KKK if they didn’t agree with the racist precepts of the Klan?

It’s the goal of the Democratic Socialists of America to get as many people elected to as many offices as they can – from school boards to city councils to state legislatures to congressional seats.

The Trojan Horses in Nevada are Vinnie Spotleson and Alex Pereszlenyi.

They would radicalize the state Democrat Party way beyond the current progressive positions it currently embraces.

They would seek to bring Cuba-worshipping to mainstream Nevada.

Is that what the people of Nevada really want?
