NN&V Exclusive

(NN&V Staff) – Earlier this week, Jim Wheeler, candidate for the Nevada Assembly’s 39th District, announced his plan for jobs and economic growth in Nevada. The day after Governor Sandoval offered his economic plan, Wheeler proffered a plan he feels will complement the efforts of the Governor to energize the state’s economy for the citizens of Nevada.

The Wheeler plan focuses on four points:

  1. Diversification of Nevada’s economy
  2. Elimination and streamlining of business regulations and Fees
  3. Moratorium on small business taxes
  4. Invest Nevada’s budgetary monies in locally owned Nevada banks to ease cash flow

The Wheeler4Nevada Campaign recently summarized voter surveys that validated the candidate’s economic plan. Wheeler said, “We knew jobs would be an issue, but the survey showed us that approximately 98% of Nevada voters have job creation as each of their top three choices of concerns!

Yes, they actually answered jobs, jobs, jobs.”

Wheeler is currently an Executive Board member of the Douglas County Republican Central Committee where he serves as co-chairman of the Candidate Recruitment Committee and member of Voter Registration and Freedom Committees. He is a member of the Nevada Republican Party Central Committee where he is a member of the Rules Committee.

Wheeler was the runner-up in the 2010 Assembly District 39 Republican Primary.
