I wrapped up the last of my 7-week Campaign Boot Camp program in Las Vegas last night. And I can’t thank those who attended enough.
Their participation allowed me to fine-tune the course material. There are things that came up in the classes that I’ll now add to the presentations, and others that weren’t quite as important that I’m going to drop.
Now here’s the good news…
Many of you have written asking if I can do Campaign Boot Camps outside of Las Vegas. And I’m now able to take all 7-weeks’ worth of material and condense it into a one-day seminar that I can do anywhere in the country.
Or even in a foreign country…like California!
As a reminder, here’s what you’ll discover at Campaign Boot Camp…
- The 15 Worst Mistakes of Losing Candidates
- How to Write a Winning Campaign Plan
- Messaging 101: Copywriting Secrets
- High-Dollar Fundraising
- Dealing with the Media
- How to Give Speeches that Don’t Suck
- How Anyone – Even You – Can Become an Author…Even if You Hate Writing
Oh, and just to clear something up…
It’s come to my attention that there are some Nevada GOP party staffers and officials falsely claiming that I teach candidates to never knock on doors. This is total BS…and they know it. But they keep saying it anyway to discourage people from attending Campaign Boot Camp.
What I teach is that door-knocking is not some “magic pill” that can replace fundraising. And that an overreliance on walking over dialing-for-dollars has cost Republican candidates races they otherwise should have and would have won.
I also teach candidates how to raise money who have never done it before. And it ain’t anywhere near as painful as you might fear…once you know a few of the “secrets.”
If you want to believe these party pooh-bahs and blow off fundraising, fine by me. Don’t come. But also don’t come crying after you wear out three pairs of tennis shoes and lose anyway.
We now return to our regular program…
For those of you outside Las Vegas (looking north to you Reno & Elko!) who’d like to bring Campaign Boot Camp to your city or town, lemme know. Contact your local GOP party, club, or any other conservative organization and ask them to bring me in.
No, I don’t train left-wing anarchists. No, I don’t wear a mask. And no, I don’t require a vaccine passport to attend.
There’s no speaking fee. All I ask is that you spread the word, put “cheeks in seats” and cover my travel expenses.
Oh, and I fly coach, not first-class. And I’m perfectly happy at a Holiday Inn Express, not the Ritz-Carlton.
If you’d like to host a Campaign Boot next year, shoot an email to chuck@campaigndoctor.com and we’ll work out the details.
