(Chuck Muth) – Short and sweet today…
Just got back from a family funeral in Baltimore over the weekend. The Southwest Airlines mess with flight delays and cancellations, whatever the cause, was a major pain in the arse.
At least my delayed flight back took off last night, though I didn’t make it home until after 2:00 am.
Rumors are flying that the disruption has been due to some kind of worker protest over the airline’s forced vaccination order. If so, I’m with the workers and accept the comparatively minor inconvenience.
Time to take a stand.
In other news…
Sorry, but I support John Gruden. Actually, not sorry at all. This cancel-culture BS over politically incorrect speech is a cancer. It’s destroying lives over “hurt feelings.”
Suck it up, buttercups.
It appears the GOP blood-letting that occurred over the summer within the Clark County Republican Party has spread northward.
The chairman of the Washoe County GOP resigned over the weekend…just a couple days before the election for chairman of the Nevada GOP this coming weekend in Winnemucca (which is wonderful this time of year).
Reminds me of this line by Clemenza in The Godfather: “These things gotta happen every five years or so, ten years. Helps to get rid of the bad blood.”
Relax, Nevada Republicans. It’s all starting to sort itself out.
Let’s go, Brandon!
