On August 29, MAGA superstar, Congressman Jim Jordan (Ohio) rallied with David Flippo at events in Douglas and Washoe counties. Both rally's were packed.
One county chair commented,
“I worked hard for Settelmeyer during the primary; however, that was then and this is now. We absolutely cannot let socialist Teresa Benitez Thompson win CD2. Withholding support for David Flippo is a vote for a socialist. So, I'm here 100% for David Flippo.”
Flippo's Democrat opponent, Teresa Benitez Thompson is a radical leftist.

- She wants schools to indoctrinate children with leftist beliefs.
Republicans who supported other candidates during the primary are now rallying around Flippo, with Governor Lombardo is leading the way. As one donor put it, “There is way too much to lose if Flippo isn't elected.”
Between 2018 to 2025, 660 elections in the U.S. were decided by fewer than 10 votes and of these 94 were decided by one vote. Republicans in CD2 cannot afford to lose a single vote. That is why every Republican must bury the hatchet and work very hard to get David Flippo elected.
Turning Point, founded by Charlie Kirk, has supported Flippo from the beginning. Senate minority leader Dr. Robin Titus and Assemblyman Greg Koenig are co-chairs of the Flippo campaign. Lyon Co. Sheriff Brad Pope and six law enforcement group are solidly in support, as are Veterans for America.
MAGA superstar, Congressman Jim Jordan (Ohio), spoke at both events. He heartily endorsed Flippo and said if Flippo is defeated it will be because Republicans didn't support him, or turn out to vote. Jordan predicted the defeat of Flippo may turn Congress over to the Democrats.
As the Chair of Washoe GOP noted, failing to vote for Flippo is a vote for radical socialist Teresa Benitez Thompson.
