If you’re feeling like Washington is ignoring you, here’s why.
While Nevadans worry about crime, schools, and rising prices, Rep. Dina Titus – a Stage 5 TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) sufferer – is busy chasing ghosts. Again.
This week, Titus joined another failed attempt to impeach President Donald Trump.
Not over anything new. Not over some shocking discovery. Just the same old political grudge that voters already settled at the ballot box.
Trump won. Again. But Titus can’t let it go.
This wasn’t about governing. It wasn’t about helping families in Las Vegas or seniors on fixed incomes. It was political theater. Pure and simple.
Democrats already impeached Trump twice during his first term. The country watched. Voters decided. And they sent him back to the White House anyway.
That should’ve been the end of it. Instead, Titus doubled down. Again.
The National Republican Congressional Committee didn’t mince words. They said Titus “isn’t governing or helping families” and is instead “waging a personal war against President Trump.”
That sounds dramatic. Until you look at her record.
Titus has voted to shut down the federal government twice. That means missed paychecks for service members. Delayed benefits for seniors. Stress for small businesses that don’t have lobbyists on speed dial.
That wasn’t an accident. It was a choice.
She also voted against making DUI convictions a deportable offense for criminal illegal immigrants. In plain English, she opposed removing people who broke the law, drove drunk, and endangered lives.
That’s not compassion. That’s negligence.
And when President Trump signed an executive order requiring proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections, Titus helped support a lawsuit to block it.
Most Nevadans call that common sense. Titus called it unacceptable.
Who Does She Work For?
Supporters say Titus is just holding Trump accountable. They say oversight matters.
They’re right. Oversight does matter. But priorities matter more.
Where’s the urgency when crime spikes in Las Vegas neighborhoods? Where’s the outrage when kids are trapped in failing schools? Where’s the fight against spending that keeps driving inflation higher?
Those issues don’t get press conferences. Impeachment does. So that’s what Titus chooses.
The NRCC summed it up this way. Titus “always finds time to go to bat for criminal illegal immigrants, putting Nevadans at risk while she chases her radical political crusades.”
That line stings because it’s accurate.
This isn’t about loving Trump. Or hating him. It’s about results.
Nevadans didn’t send Dina Titus to Washington to relive the past. They sent her there to solve problems. To protect public safety. To fight for fairness and accountability.
Instead, she’s stuck on repeat. Same anger. Same talking points. Same political stunts.
Meanwhile, Nevada families are left wondering when someone in Washington will finally focus on them.
At some point, obsession stops being passion and starts being a problem. And Dina Titus crossed that line a long time ago.
