Cancel Your Valentine’s Day Reservations, The Love & Politics Game Show Is Back!

Around Valentine’s Day, the world seems to become a blur of candlelit dinners, big bouquets of roses, and overpriced teddy bears.

This year, the Nevada Republican Club is offering something a little different. And a lot more fun.

On Wednesday, February 11, the NRC is hosting a live performance, “Love & Politics: The Game Show”, at the Ahern Hotel.

It’s a Valentine’s-themed night that blends politics, relationships, and good-natured competition.

If you’ve ever watched The Newlywed Game, this is like that – only with politicians and activists in the live studio audience.

The evening runs from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. and features real couples from Nevada’s conservative community.

The questions are lighthearted, the answers are unpredictable, and the laughs are guaranteed.

Hosting the night is Chuck Muth, longtime conservative activist and president of the Citizen Outreach Foundation.

Chuck’s hosted similar events in the past, and if you know, you know.

Be prepared for some uncouth Muth humor; those of delicate nature may want to pack some pearls to clutch.

As for the couples, Chuck will have them sharing things about each other they never expected to share in public – let alone onstage among political peers.

The guest couples include:

  • Bernadette & Stavros Anthony

  • Cindy & Wayne Allyn Root

  • Kristine & Lloyd Benson

  • Patricia & Garland Brinkley

Audience participation is part of the fun, so even if you’re not on stage, you don’t have to sit quietly in the dark.

There’ll be wine, drinks, and cheese; and Valentine’s Day isn’t complete without chocolate! More than enough for all the Valentines in the audience.

Tickets are priced at:

  • $45 for NRC members
  • $50 for non-members and guests
  • $55 at the door

Space is limited, and past Love & Politics shows have sold out fast.

If you want to see some of Nevada’s strongest political personalities let their guard down and have a little fun, I wouldn’t wait; grab your ticket now.
